James Cary is a sitcom writer for BBC TV (Miranda, Bluestone 42, My Family) and Radio (Think the Unthinkable, Hut 33). He also writes about the Christian calendar at Cary’s Almanac - and has recently launched a new publication called The Wycliffe Papers: jokes for those serious about the Bible and Church history. A member of St John’s Church in Yeovil and the General Synod of the Church of England, James is also the author of The Sacred Art of Joking and The Gospel According to a Sitcom Writer (SPCK).
