Rachel describes herself as a reader of people and books, a writer of stories and inklings. She is a professional coach and mentor, and educator of adults and children. She manages these endeavours under the title 'North Star Guidance' because she is eager to always live according to wise and dependable Christian values and principles.
She has been in education for her entire life, on both sides of the desk, and is passionate about the incomparable importance and significance of reading great books for the sake of humanity.
Rachel is inspired by Lucy from Narnia, Feo from The Wolf Wilder, Anne of Green Gables, Heidi, Pippi Longstocking and The Truth Pixie because, like these characters, she lives and writes from the heart about things she believes matter. Also like these characters, the courage of her convictions makes her potentially exasperating and intriguing in equal measure.
She loves and lives in Oxford with her husband and sons, and enjoys little better than a wild weekend hidden in a glorious treehouse in the woods.
